Premier League Cricket Tournament of Vandarumoolai Diamon Sports Club
The Premier League cricket tournament organized by the Vandarumoolai Diamon Sports Club in Batticaloa is scheduled to be held grandly on the 27th and 28th of September 2025.
All events will take place under the leadership of the Club President, Mr. E. Ajay. The tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 27.09.2025, and will conclude on Sunday evening, 28.09.2025, with the trophy presentation ceremony.
The tournament will feature former retired players, early-generation players, and current young players. Six teams have been formed, each consisting of 11 members, and the matches will take place over two days in a league format.
A significant aspect of this tournament is a memorial tribute to former players who actively participated in cricket matches from the early days and have since passed away. Prayers will be offered for the peace of their souls in remembrance of their contributions.
