Today, approximately 2,000 people will be appointed to government jobs in Colombo.
This event will take place at the Colombo Alliri Mansion, under the leadership of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
Appointments of Assistant Managers Based on Competitive Exams
Around 2,000 individuals, who have passed competitive examinations, will be appointed as Assistant Managers in the government service during this event.
During the last budget session, the President had proposed to fill vacancies in the government service by recruiting 30,000 individuals.
Accordingly, it has been announced that today's appointments will be made based on this proposal.
